The heartbreaking incident unfolded on Friday, October 27, 2023, in Rivers State, leaving his friends and family in deep mourning and shock.

Abacha Wezume, a proud native of Aluu in the Ikwerre Local Government area of Rivers State, had eagerly taken to his Facebook account on Monday, October 23, to share the exhilarating news of his academic achievement.

He beamed with pride as he announced his acceptance into UNIPORT, a dream he had passionately pursued for several years.

“Congratulations to me. Unique UNIPORT, thank you. Have just been offered admission,” he posted on his Facebook page.

Tragically, Abacha Wezume's celebration of his academic accomplishment was abruptly cut short.
